At the intersection of public and private research, the 3IA institutes create the ideal conditions for collaboration between world-class academic researchers and key drivers of innovation (start-ups, SMEs, or large corporations) and thereby strengthen the economic vitality of their environment. Although they each have their unique features, the 3IA insitutes also work in a network. Since their inception, they have developed many joint actions and created synergies that contribute to the national AI strategy.
