Our funding opportunities
To promote scientific excellence, strengthen synergies between Institutes, and encourage the development of new techniques, the Institut Pasteur provides several funding programs designed to support the career development of international researchers at every stage of their careers.
Short-term funding opportunities
Supports the organisation of internships within the Pasteur Network for PN scientists, whether they are students, technicians, engineers, or researchers.
Encourages scientists from the Pasteur Network to take part in training courses or workshops organised within the Pasteur Network, including those held at the Institut Pasteur (Paris).
Scholarships co-funded by the Pierre Ledoux Jeunesse Internationale Foundation (accommodation) and the nstitut Pasteur’s International Affairs Department (travel) to undertake an internship in the laboratories of a member of the Pasteur Network in the Global South.
Long-Term funding opportunities
Encourages French and international researchers to undertake their doctoral research at a Pasteur Network institute outside mainland France.
To foster global scientific collaboration, the Institut Pasteur supports two dedicated programs for international research teams:
- PERL
Fosters interdisciplinary and high-impact projects by promoting synergies between fundamental, clinical, and applied research.
- SPARK
Encourages the development of new international collaborations by bringing together the next generation of scientists across the Pasteur Network.
